WoW Characters - Creating Your World of Warcraft Characters

World of Warcraft takes place in a massive universe on the world of Azeroth, and allows you to create and modify your own character. It is a highly interactive fantasy world that is great fun and can be very addictive. It also happens to be the most popular online Internet games in the world, with more than 8 million players worldwide. This type of game is called an MMORPG, or massively multiplayer online role-playing game, even though it isn't necessary to "role-play" in the game.

The first thing you need to do before wow gold you can really play World of Warcraft is create your character. As you are deciding on what kind of WoW character to create, one thing to keep in mind is that you can choose to be one of several different races of people. Thinking ahead, you will need to farm for gold in the game and it will be easier with some races, as will leveling. So you might want to do some research on the best character classes and races before making your ultimate selection.

For example, many players consider hunters to be the fastest character to level just because of their particularly skill set. So you will want to think carefully about your race before you even start playing the game, as each race has different abilities and skills.

There are two factions and ten races. They are:

  • The Alliance Faction: Races include: - Humans, Night Elves, Gnomes, Draenei, and Dwarfs.
  • The Horde Faction: Races include: - Blood Elves, Trolls, Tauren, Orcs, and the Undead.

If you have a group of friends that you are going to be playing with, you will probably want to make sure that you are the same faction as their characters because Alliance and Horde faction cannot communicate with each other.
There are also nine character classes that a player of World of Warcraft can choose from: Druids, Hunters, Mages, Paladins, Priests, Rogues, Shamans, Warlocks, Warriors. Each of these classes has unique abilities and talents and not all of the character classes can be used with all of the races. For instance, only a Night Elf or Tauren can be a Druid and everyone except the Blood Elves can be a Warrior.

Talents can also be specialized in three different talent trees for each class and once you get to level 10 you can start buying talent points to enhance your skills sets. Don't forget too that you also need to think about professions and how those go work with certain character classes as well.

As you can see, there's a lot to think about when it comes to creating your first wow gold character. Because of the importance of initial character creation, it makes sense to pour over all of the information on the World of Warcraft website about the various races, classes and talents before you begin, otherwise you may end up having to live with a character you don't really care for, or start all over again from scratch. While many players ultimately create more than one WoW character as they get more involved in the game, you don't want to be forced to do so just because you made a bad decision the first time you played Warcraft.
